EMS Today Conference - Baltimore, March 2007: Ranger Raffle Winner

While attending the "EMS Today" conference in Baltimore back in March, Middlesex Hospital paramedic, Mike Case (at right), won a GlideScope® video laryngoscope as part of a raffle conducted by Verathon Medical. Erich Schwinn, territory manager for Verathon (at left) made a personal visit recently to present the medical device to Mike, who has graciously decided to donate it to the Hospital. The GlideScope® that Mike is trying out in the photo provides a consistent, clear image of a patient's airway, which makes the process of opening the airway much faster and easier for the person using this equipment.
