Verathon Medical reaches 25 Years of service

In April 2009 Verathon Medical will celebrate its Silver Anniversary of 25 years in operation. This milestone has been reached with successful world-wide sales of famous generic products - BladderScan® and GlideScope®. GlideScope sales growth in UK continues.

Sales of GlideScope video-laryngoscopy within the UK continue to grow in 2009 at a rate that has exceeded the initial company expectations. Many UK Hospitals now use the devices for normal intubations rather than just for the difficult airway and 2 of these hospitals - Chelsea & Westminster, London and Royal Hallamshire , Sheffield - have given interviews for the website explaining their uses. Verathon UK refurbishes its UK offices and increases service support capability

As the Verathon business expands in the UK it has become necessary to completely refurbish its offices in Aston Sandford and to build a modern Customer Support/Service centre and customer demonstration facility. The work was started in January 2009 by Tapper Interiors from Banbury and has now extended support capability by 20% over the previous available space. This refurbishment allows the company to offer a complete service capability for its BladderScan® and GlideScope®.

The new BladderScan® BVI9400 proves a “Business Case” success for UK Trusts.
